Empowering Youth Through Innovative Programs in Logan City, Brisbane, and Gold Coast for Positive Transformations
One-on-One AOD Support
At Overflow Foundation, we offer targeted one-on-one support for young people who are at risk of, or currently experiencing, challenges with alcohol and other drugs. With over two decades of experience working with youth and families, our approach is grounded in evidence-based practice, trauma-informed care, and genuine connection.
We operate across two key areas: Prevention and Intervention.
- Prevention is about working early—before substance use becomes a problem. We support young people to build resilience, understand the risks, and strengthen the protective factors in their lives through mentoring, education, and proactive support.
- Intervention is for when substance use is already having an impact. Whether it's early experimentation or more entrenched use, we provide tailored, culturally responsive support that meets young people where they're at. We work collaboratively to unpack what's driving the behaviour, reduce harm, and connect them to further support where needed.

New Horizon Project
The New Horizon Project is an engaging 8-week program designed specifically for youth who are disengaged from school and at risk of involvement with QPS and Youth Justice. This initiative offers a fresh, hands-on approach to learning, tailored to meet young people where they are. Participants will work towards achieving a Certificate I in Construction through practical training, while also receiving consistent mentoring and support. With two dedicated Youth Support Workers guiding them throughout the program, the New Horizon Project provides not just skills for work, but pathways for a brighter future.
This Skilling Queenslanders for Work project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government
